I am a Touya Akira Fan because...

:: Why do I like Touya? AHHHHHH! <3 From the first episode, I looked at him and said, "This is definietely going to be one of my favourite characters." But his eyes caught my attention the most. It's got that intensity and that death-glare. ^ ^ Plus, he's got this never-give-up spirit that many anime characters don't have! I admire him very much. He's very cute sometimes too! =) Did I mention he is so cute when he was small? XD Plus, as the title says, he's a child prodigy. And I still can't believe he doesn't need to study at all. o_o

:: Like??!?! I LOVE Touya!! He's so kind and polite....*sigh*. If only real guys were like that =PP

:: It's definitely the hair and his personality. Just...tough, determined, yet soft...

:: The passion. The determination. The talent. The ability to go from so-so-cute to hot in seconds flat.

:: The eyes! And his hair, and the fact that he's got such a strong never-give-up personality... and of course, he looks SO good with Hikaru! ^o^

:: Why? He's so cute and determinated with the things he wants, and he made me want to learn to play go... yeah, I'm that obsessed ^^

:: His eyes are fantastic... I like his hair, his determination, his talent for Go and especially his respectful disposition. ^_^

:: Oh my goodness... Well, I've always have had a soft spot for the poliet genius type of bishies... However, Akira is so special! ^__^ *huggles* I love too much about him. Definately my favourite go playing guy.

:: He's got the character I'm generally attracted to for one reason or another: quiet and introverted. Though that's not the first thing that caught my eye. I love his hair, he's soo kawaii (or hot, depending on the age), he's a genuis, he's got a rather interesting personality in that he's polite and reserved, even at his age, but *can* lose his temper (mainly with Shindou), I love the way he talks to pros before a match, especially when he beats the crap out of them after he's been underestimated...um...he's amazing...in pretty much every way.

:: Because of his lovely feature, his personality, and his attitudes... When he decides to do something he will do it no matter how hard it may seem... Very cool.. *drools like an idiot*

:: He's dedicated, he faces his fears, he's adorable, he's polite, he uses polite speech XD, he can be death serious, he suffers from abnormal internal struggles that make him flip out at random intervals (which is just plain adorable XD), he doesn't have any friends XD (more for me), he has amazing intellectual abilities, he's modest, he has gorgeous icy green eyes, he has the most adorable rivalry with Shindou, he's a stalker, he's awkwardly independent yet he thrives by sucking the very life out of [Sai] Shindou c_c... yes, he can be a dork sometimes, and yes, he can dress like a total fruit sometimes, but that's all the more reason to love him -^_^- Agh..did I mention his beautiful voice? Not to mention the fact that he's just plain GORGEOUS. (TOT)

:: He achieves his goals; that's what I'd like to do all the time...

:: Touya Akira is completely different than me, which provokes my interest on him. He's passionate and determined, surpassing others of age and more, yet he's demeanour and behaviour is of worthy of a noble person. And to me, he is one. That what makes me love him.

:: Touya is utterly and completely devoted to Go, but he learns that Go is not the only thing in life. ^_^

:: Because he is handsome and clever, he is also bigotry! How I wish I could meet a real boy just like him!

:: Originally, because he looked like my favorite character, Yzak from Gundam SEED. As I saw more I just liked him as he was. XD

:: I like him because he is very intelligent and has the capability to excel like his father.He also has developed a Healthy passion for it.

:: he's stubborn, intelligent and cute (especially when he gets angry); he's also really persistent and alwyas try to achieve his goals

:: Hmm, good question. He's a calm, polite child and very kind... yet under all that he's fiercely passionate about Go... Also he's really quite mysterious. A very entertaining chartacter!

:: I like him because he is a boy that is very handsome, very courageous to face Hikaru/Sai. In him, i can see stong will to defeat anyone who is better than him, and i like his face when playing chess, he concentrated in high level! His face looked terribly austere!

:: Mainly because he looks like a haughty person while he's very passionate when it comes down to business. He's strong and melanchonic. And he's a cutie ^_^ ; kids don't wear such suits, but they fit him perfectly ... sweetie :)

:: Calm,gentle and intelligent. I love everything about him so much! He is so cute. I also love the way he acts. His determination are very strong.

:: =TwT= Omg. Actually, it's really ironic that Touya became one of my favorite characters in Hikaru no Go. I remember during his first appearances, I was sort of like, "Man, what's up with this guy?" but by the time I got to volume 5 of the manga, I realized how much I love him. =;____;= He's such a great character. I love his polite, kind, but strong and determined personality. Aside from the fact that I think he's a total cutie ( XD haha... I must be honest. ) he has some of the most admirable traits out of any character I've ever come across, whether it be in a book, anime, TV, you name it. Also, though it's mentioned in the book many times, now I'm beginning to see it and I must admit, I do love his intensity. <3 He's just such an inspirational character.

:: I like Touya because he is so smart and studies hard, at the same time he's a handsome man with few words!
