 Touya Akira Love
This is my little space to say why I love Touya Akira <3

In the beginning, Donna did not have an interest in Touya Akira. Neither did she have an interest in the anime/manga Hikaru no Go. However, in mid 2002 she was walking past her older sister, Reiko, who was watching a new anime which she had just bought. This anime was Hikaru no Go. She was instantaneously drawn to the TV with the dramatic music booming from the speakers.

This scene in the anime which attracted Donna to the TV was where Touya Akira goes to the Children's Tournament in search of Shindou Hikaru. As Touya-kun runs up the stair out of the subway, Shindou-kun is there talking to himself (while in fact he was actually talking to Sai).

The settings of this scene and the music portrayed Touya Akira as a dramatic, serious and overwhelmingly determined character with an endless passion for Go. It was at this moment that Nijipan fell in love with Touya-kun! After she watched that scene she read the manga and became instantly hooked!
